Sue O’Donnell is the executive vice president of Banking & Investment Services at City National Bank. She also serves on the company’s Executive Leadership Team and Senior Management Team.

A seasoned executive with over 28 years of experience in banking operations, Sue is building and executing on a multi-year transformation journey to improve the client and colleague experience, with a focus on sustainable operational excellence. She is head of client servicing and operations for all lines of business across City National and has oversight and accountability for bankwide programs including Fraud Prevention, Crisis Management and Business Continuity. Based in Delaware, she manages colleagues in strategic hubs across U.S. time zones to deliver first-class service.

Sue joined City National in 2021 from JPMorgan Chase, where she was the global head of client maintenance for the bank’s wealth management division.

Sue is active in the community and serves as vice president of the board of trustees for the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. She is the executive sponsor of the bank’s Black Colleague Alliance and executive cosponsor of both the bank’s LGBTQ+ Alliance and annual Workplace Giving campaign.

Sue holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Wake Forest University and a FINRA Series 99 license.
